Well, my Quilted Party Tray pattern is all finished and in my shop. I'm telling you, I've got many ideas and a finite amount of time. After all, my helpful three year old is only in preschool 2 days a week. =) Speaking of helpful-3-year-old-
My husband got this kid-mouse. Its the tiniest little mouse ever. Ry thinks its only for him. I suppose for the most part it is, since the other two kids have figured out the regular-size mouse just fine. But get this, its plugged in and it works WHILE the other mouse works. That was kind of a mess, but it was still fun. He had the best time helping me delete daddy, who was holding the Grocery Bag, from the photos. Sure, Ry may not know ALL his letters, but he's getting pretty good with "OK" and "Cancel" hehe.
Thats what we were working on. Its a super beginner pattern that I hope to teach up at the Community Center on base, in October. I will likely be offering the pattern as a free download on my website.
And lastly in pattern news- I've covered the done, the almost done and now for the new:
These are name badges. I was so inspired after my own name badge deal, that I sorta went crazy with them! I realized after drafting up a few, that the name tag size is 3.5 x 5 and if you enlarge the patterns by 130%, they are the perfect size for fabric postcards. I'm still working on the very early stages of the pattern. I'll have more info on these babies as I go along. Stay tuned.
In other-other pattern news- have you seen this blog? Crazy Mom Quilts. I think I've mentioned her here before, but I don't remember. Either way, her blog is amazing. She has tutorials all the time and they are excellent. She's doing a series now on Create of Christmas 08. Its wonderful. Go check it out!
If you make it, feel free to share it in the ReannaLily Designs Flickr pool.
