Y'all, its getting bad. I made this
Mug Rug and I don't even have a MUG that matches!
I really wanted to try out a reverse applique technique I'm working on and some free motion swirls.
I suppose at the very least, I'll have my own collection of mini's to display in a group somewhere in my home. That's fun.
Woah- More Mug Rugs!

I love all your mug rugs. I think perhaps a trip to a ceramic store is in order. then you can paint your mug to match your rug. ;)
you're right--you might need an intervention. I'll cross my fingers and hope that the last line of your post doesn't magically transform into " . . .I'll have my own collection of mini's to display in a GROUP HOME somewhere."
Just Kidding! I love your mug rugs and have been trying to figure out how many I can make by Christmas. Thanks for sharing your artistry & link to the flickr swap!!
That is so pretty!!! I don't even know how to do reverse applique. I don't think you need a mug to match.
Thats so cute a rug with no mug. Ok I have another queston what is a reverse applique technique.
Mug rugs, who would have thought it? I certainly would not have before I found your blog. They are brilliant. I love the designs that you have done and they go so well with the mugs. My hubby got a mug today for Father's Day (from Oz) I think I will need to make him one for that.
Just watched the video from Karen Buckley and she showed how to do reverse applique. With practice I think could can do it. I just wish I knew how to make your mug rugs. They are sooo cute and would make perfect Christmas gifts!!
