Being Quilted
Oh man, my spoonflower fabric quilt is being quilted. Its been a long while- but I finally decided to go ahead and have it quilted this Christmas. Merry Christmas to me! My mom has a mid-arm hinterberg frame/machine set up. She sent me pictures of the progress last night. I requested to have "long gradual waves" sewn in, perpendicular to the strips of the quilt.
Here's the quilt top, a rectangle in real life- I've showed you this little baby before. (over a year ago!) Oh, and I call it the spoonflower quilt because I used the only fat quarter I've ever purchased from them in this quilt. The rainbow-y strips are from various designers/companies.
I cannot wait to see it in person. When it arrives, hopefully I can lay it out and get a full, all-over picture for you... and heck, maybe it will even be bound by then. Or maybe I'll wait another year.
Thanks for the pics, MOM!
