Army Cube & Swap Blocks

Just poppin in after the big long weekend. I wanted to show you what I've been working on- Its an ARMY CUBE with 4 different fabrics. The fabric choices are over on my flickr account and my client choose the fabric sample with 4 different fabrics. The total fabric required is still just one yard, but it turned out so festive.

This Cube has two sleeve pockets on the exterior of the bag with maximum Velcro for all the patches your heart desires. I also added the name tapes above each pocket. There are 4 drop-in pockets in the interior and 1 lined zipper pocket. These bags are a great way to use or recycle those military uniforms into something fun and practical. This one is going to be a military uniform diaper bag. Its got plenty of room.

In other "just poppin in" news- The Spring 2009 Quilt Block Swap blocks have started arriving! Its pretty exciting!
You can see these blocks and many others at the Block Swap flickr group page, here. The blocks above are Blue & Orange from section 1 and Purple from section 2.

Oh how I wish I had mine finished and ready to go. But things have not gone so well for me to sew this last week or so. I've fallen behind on EVERYTHING it seems! AGHHH!
