Half Square Triangle Quilt- Quilted

Before Thanksgiving I made up a small half square triangle quilt.  I had been stewing on how to quilt it.  Basically, I ended up going with "old faithful" in the middle of the quilt.  I'm getting pretty good at that nested paisley looking design.  I used a grey/smoke/white variegated quilting thread on the top.  Its subtle, but in my mind I'm totally branching out. (from just quilting in white only)   =)

For the borders I tried something crazy- straight-ish lines with quilted cornerstones.  Sorry the picture is so washed out/blurry.  I did quilt using black all purpose Coats 'n Clark in the black borders.

And there it is in all its small-ish quilt glory.  I think it would be a good size for a couple 18" dolls.  Or maybe even a good stroller blanket, since its narrow enough to fit down into the stroller without completely losing the kid in there.
