New Quilt Pattern- RECYCLE!

Its ready!!! The second pattern, Half Square Triangle Jubilee, in my Recycled Uniforms line ready for release today! Hooooray! My pattern tester was so fast on this one. {Thank you thank you.}

The pattern, like my The Cube Purse, is originally designed to use recycled military uniforms, camo, camouflage, ABU's BDU's- whatever you are calling them- military uniforms. This nearly 60" square quilt includes directions for cutting and using the old uniforms AND it even includes yardage, in the event you just like the color value based design, and would like to make the quilt using fat quarters and traditional cottons instead.

The fabric used in the cover model is by Denyse Schmidt and {of course} the US gov't.

The design isn't a regular ole' half square triangle quilt- It has a few unique blocks thrown in for visual interest. Those blocks are diagramed in the pattern with exact placement directions.

I do hope you take this quilt for a test drive. It is a great way for kids to snuggle up to the service member while he/she is deployed or on some other long TDY. Its perfect for bedtime stories and weekend movie nights.

You can find the pattern at my website, www.reannalilydesigns.com, under the patterns link. Thanks for checking it out and please pass the word on to your military friends and family members.

Hello from a fellow Homefronter...this is just awesome! I wanted to add an idea, add applique blocks of the states we've lived in! And heaven only knows we, military families have been just about everywhere:)
