In unrelated news- I've received more blocks for the online swap. One from Australia has already arrived. I'll be adding these into the flickr group photo pool.
Now aren't you excited to see what all these swap blocks are going to turn out like? Well, I've got a little teaser for you: I organized the swap with my real life local quilt guild. They all turned in blocks at our March meeting. The blocks look excellent. Very festive and spring-y. I think the ladies will enjoy their assortments. I'll have to take pictures of the finished quilts (if they bring them to show-and-tell) to see how many different layouts develop for 9 little unique blocks.
I laid them out in order of the "choose a color" image, so you can see the sampler better.

Awe shoot, I didn’t win. But congrats to Stitch N Love!
Love the way the blocks are looking. I’m still working on mine. I’ve run out of white and may run out of the light blue. So will have to go to plan b for that swap. Think I’ve got plenty of the maroon for the second group’s swap. Hopefully I’ll get those all finished this weekend.
