18" Doll Clothes

For Christmas, my daughter received 18" dolls.  The doll is the same size and shape as American Girl Dolls.  (They do NOT have the American Girl price.)  These dolls are named Claire and Emily, and of course, they need clothes!

I drafted a little pattern for pajama pants and a little tank top.  I think the sets turned out really well.  My daughter is convinced they can only be worn as pajamas, though.  I told her that I thought the dolls could even wear these out and her reply was "Yeh, to Walmart."   ...where more people than a few wear pajama pants on a regular basis...

*The green pants fabric is by Sandi Hendersen for Michael Miller and the pink is by Alexander Henry.

Your daughter is very astute! Only to Walmart...hah! Have you approached her about making her and her dolls matching outfits?

That Walmart comment is hilarious. I have doll clothes on my post today too -- how cute!
